101 expressions

Baby CryOn Thursday 18 March 2010 I took a half day leave from work just to accompany my wife to have our little princess vaccinated for the 2nd time. This one was Hepatitis B. I can see the progress of Kayla, beside she gain weight (now she is 4,3 kg) and getting taller (57 cm), she also did not cry when doctor injected the vaccine. Well, actually she cried but it was like only a second, and that’s it. She stopped crying as soon as her mommy holds her. Alhamdulillah, i am proud of her (yes..of course i am proud of her mommy as well ;) ).
.

She is two months old now and amazingly without us noticing she can actually lift her head up Ignorenow, she did not wake up every two hours at night anymore (thank God, i can sleep better now *devilish smile). And by looking at the pictures on this post you will also realize that actually she “can” show her emotion, or I would prefer to say she can simply show her expression.

Yup..there is a picture when she is about to cry, where it is so cute (even though when we deal with it we need to give all of our effort not to let her continue this mimic, which is crying..hehe). You also can see her face when she act “ignorance”, yes this Lady in Redis a face that shows what ever way we try to attract her or to get her attention, she’ll just ignore you (arrghh..but she is still adorable as always). Last but not least, one of my favorite pictures…when she smiles. In fact, i put my blackberry status with this picture :D

Oh God, thank you for this gift and please give us the strength to raise her in your way, amiin

Three Way Conference

TWC If you look at the picture you must be wondering whether it is a picture of a bazaar or exhibition or what, nope this is a picture of Three Way Conference (TWC). Yup..we named it that way. This is actually the event held by my workplace today, where teachers meet parents and students to discuss student academic progress. For one academic year there are 4 terms and TWC is held in odd terms, which means we don’t provide printed report for the odd terms. Well, this is a new way for me to give update regarding student progress. I have been teaching for 4 years and have taught in 2 schools before. This is the 3rd school I am working at. For the 1st two schools they always provide printed report each term but not here. Of course there are advantages and disadvantages which won’t be discussed here ;)

Having this conference I can get a conclusion, there are actually no dumb students (oops..sorry to say that) only those who have good motivation  or lack of it .

So, where am I? I can’t see myself on the picture…dooohh (of course, you were taking the picture) :D

Teachers, educators, lecturers feel free to give your comments here.

Kayla’s Mom New Look

Kayla's Mommy 2Alhamdulillah, i would like to happily announce that now Kayla’s mom wears headscarf (read : Jilbab). Actually this change has been awaited for a long time, and she knew that she’ll wear it someday when she is mentally ready. The picture is taken when she went to a gala dinner organized by her colleagues last week and so many positive comments was received from her friends. I am happy to hear that as i know that it won’t be easy for a female to get use to this new look, they need to adapt with stuffs. They need to have a big support from families and friends.

The second picture was taken before me and my wife went to “hunt” for a secondary car. For a ‘newbie’ i am quite surprise to see the way she manage her new look, the way she wear the  headscarf is just fantastic (ok dear, since i say it in public, you can buy me dinner :D ). Kayla's Mommy 1 I mean, she’s been staying at home for like 2,5 months (before and after kayla’s delivery). She rarely has the chance to go to places to find ideas of  ‘female headscarf style’. All she does is  just look at magazines we bought that has several pictures of muslim clothings. For this, i give her 9 out of 10 (hihi ;) ).

Well, i am hoping that she will be given strength and faith so this will last forever. Thank you for those who have given support in any way (prayers, gifts, etc).
