Singapore Trip
Luckily, my wife still have some pictures of us from the Singapore trip. All of these pictures were taken from camera of her cell phone. Even thought there are some limitations of the quality of the pictures, I think Kayla will be happy to see these pictures when she grows up to have a flash back of her childhood
Well..it was not actually a vacation, I was sent to attend 3 days workshop from my office, obviously I took this opportunity to bring a long my family. So, we finally stayed for 6 days in Singapore. We were quite lucky, the hotel that was provided by my office is in Clarke Quay area, where the hotel’s atmosphere and the surrounding were very impressive. Almost every day Kayla and her mom had a morning stroll as soon as we finished our breakfast while I am attending the workshop.
It was a memorable trip since this is the first time we brought Kayla overseas, in fact she enjoyed the moment so much. We can tell by looking at how cheerful she was, every day in every places we visited. One of the unique thing of this visit is because it was Ramadhan time. We need to adjust the time and arrange the “Sahur” with the hotel officer, we need to rush to get the taxi to go to several culinary spot that offers “hallal” food for us to break our fasting. Several places that we visited during our staying in Singapore are Gaylang Road (on 1st day, to break our fast), Mustafa a.k.a Little India (on the 2nd day), we went to Arab Street then Marina Bay then Esplanade on the 3rd day, Chinese Mid autumn festival at Clark Quay river side (on the 4th day), River boat (Clarke Quay to Esplanade return trip on the 5th day).
On Idul Fitri day, I prayed in the Masjid Sultan at Arab Street. The speech was transferred in Melayu and English. The mosque was so much crowded, unlike Indonesia apparently it is something unusual (or prohibited?) to have an Idul Fitri prayer in the main road of the city. We ended up had another breakfast at the hotel since it was quite hard to get our common Idul Fitri food like Ketupat.
Unfortunately, Kayla had a fever on the last 2 days that makes us impossible to bring her to Sentosa Island and take her for an MRT trip as we planned. I think it is just because she was exhausted and need some rest. Perhaps someday in the future. Overall, it was a tiring yet a pleasure trip
Alhamdulillah.

Iya ya, next time mungkin bawa penyanggah leher.
Huhuhuu…iya foto & videonya hilang, cameranya ga sengaja jatuh ke lantai, pas di nyalain minta di format ulang SD card nya
